A Bit Of A Flood
We had the worst flooding in Mirfield since 1947 on Monday when the river calder burst it’s banks and flooded out onto the flood plain that was last year deamed by the powers that be now safe for building on with only a once in one hundred years risk of flooding. Well that’s twice in 60 years and the people in the new housing didn’t seem to get the joke at all!
